A bit tried, may be I just put the picture here, and say, this one is worth buying.

May be I will add the commend later.

This mold actually looks great. Apart from the shoulder wheels not being able tot fold down.

But I think I can understand why they can't. It probably would have required a hinge for the wheels, which would compromise the stability of the wheels in vehicle mode.

It's like they mixed the deco of both his older deluxe releases.

The vehicle mode looks a lot better than the previous deluxe Ratchet, but I don't think it's different enough from that one to make me want it. If this was voyager size I'd be all over it. (I haven't been keeping up with movie news much to avoid spoilers, so maybe there already is a new voyager Ratchet mold...)

i think it is time for another voyager mold since they just repainted 2007 version for 2009 movie.

Cant wait to buy this guy, but like everyone else, voyager class would have made this an amazing purchase.

Very good toy imo, one of my favorite deluxes so far. Better than the HFTD version in both modes, looks blockier (I must say I was a big fan of the original Movie 1 Voyager mold). MechTech weapon is probably my favorite too, the spinning blade is pretty cool and the 2 mounting pegs are useful when you want to try different configurations. Another neat touch: the fold out panels in vehicle that allow you to mount extra weapons. Well integrated. New deco isn't the most spectacular (I think I like the original deco better) but it's still decent. Transformation is fun, I like how you spin the upper body to convert to robot mode.

Didn't hurt the RotF version any.

Argh. Feel like a sucker for having bought the RotF/HftD mold (twice :redface2: ). This one's much better!

But who'm I kidding? It's Ratchet. Almost every version is a shoo-in for me. The only ones I've skipped are the FABs and Night Ops. (And I'm still considering the latter.)

    I agree.

If this was Voyager sized, I would buy it.

    Thanks for the update.

    I'll pass...

Can we get a shot of the bot mode profile, so we can see the size of the backpack?

Looks great, actually has a cool mech tech weapon AND he can actually hold it in his hands? That's a definite yes for me.

    WOW!

    Great pics, Sir..

I will say all previous pics of this guy made him look like there was a major issue with the legs because it seemed he was always stooping...But it seems clearly that is not the case.

Looks real good, But I say pass, just because of the eventual flood of repaints to choose from, and hopes for a new voyager.

    Once again...GREAT pics

Answering my own request - courtesy of Ben's World of Transformers...

DOTM DLX Ratchet has got some serious junk in the trunk:

Just got DOTM Ratchet as my first Mechtech toy, and I have to say I am quite impressed. The transformation is easy, yet intuitive, both modes look very nice (thankfully, he doesn't suffer from the 'unpainted' look that seems to be a bit common with this line), and his Mechtech weapon is awesome. Like, "This gimmick gets a pass based solely on this one example" awesome. The fact that he looks quite good next to Deluxe Ironhide is a pretty big bonus too.

Overall, I say he is a very nice toy, and worth every penny (which, oddly enough, was pretty cheap compared to what I have become used to, so that's a plus).

Amazing looking figure. I've actually kind of grown to like the wheels where they are. Not super accurate, but I like wheels visible in robot mode on TFs. One of my most anticipated DOTM figures.

Really, the line as a whole seems to be quite good, but so many were soured by first impressions they refuse to see it.

One of the best deluxes in the line so far. Lots of good parts and his transformation is great. Holy crap is his mechtech saw thing awesome too.
