Here's my take on this crap:

First off, Hasbro has really done an injustice to the fans, collectors, and consumers of the Transformers brand by limiting the deluxe figures revealed at SDCC to the Asian market.

If this is indeed correct, then why? What about their U.S. consumers?

Second, what the flip happened in Rhode Island that would make them cancel the remaining figures? Why can't they just tell the truth about what is really going on with this stuff?

I know most of you are bored with DOTM, and are ready to move on, but some of us, like myself, feel let down and disappointed. I was really looking forward to Wheeljack, Soundwave, and possibly, Mirage, but this is just insane.

I mean, if they can release a cyberverse Mirage, then why not a deluxe or even a HA figure like the one on display in TRU in Tokyo?

I don't know who made it, but yes, there is. It's on display in a glass case. More than one person from both the U.S. and foreign markets has seen it. My guess is that it is either a KO, or else Takara may have a prototype in their possession.

Either way, Hasbro really goofed. They missed an opportunity to make a dump truck load of cash on just those three figures that I mentioned, even if they only released them in limited quantities at select distributors.

I wonder what the point is of the movie trilogy line, if it's not going to include figures like Mirage and Wheeljack?

I'm quite disappointed as well. However, this turn of events frees my wallet enough to buy Prime Cyberverse. I guess that's not such a bad tradeoff.

It's a horrible trade off if you aren't interested in buying that much of the prime line... I'm in absolute disarray with the way hasbro is treating the US consumers. It's kind of horse shit honestly...

I really don't care, but I am bothered by the fact that I got Leadfoot and Roadbuster for nothing.

I don't think it's so much entitlement but rather just a big disappointment for fans.

I know that there are groups here that honestly don't care and say "Good riddance" or what have you but for people who like the DOTM line it genuinely sucks.

    HA Mirage?

Let me guess, It's a customized figure or a KO.

Yes its a big disappointment. It means now you have to pay $50+ for a deluxe figure of those 3 characters and the Hasbro dlx Leadfoot looks better than the naked tt release that's out now.

Hasbro basically said "Thanks for all your money you've spent on TF1/AllSpark, ROTF/HFTD, & DOTM. We greatly appreciate it.....on second thought....no we don't....Fuck you consumers!"

Not sure, as the people that I heard from who had seen it didn't get an answer from the TRU employees over there. My guess is a Takara prototype mold was used to make it.

I don't believe that TT will have the same issues that Hasbro claims as far as licensing a Mirage figure; but they may have a challenge in getting the okay from Hasbro to market the figure.

I don't believe that Hasbro is going to market Mirage in any type of deluxe or HA version, and I don't think they'll release Wheeljack or Soundwave, either.

I'm not surprised a HA Mirage exists.

I always thought it was odd the first wave of DOTM HA toys were both non movie repaints. I had a feeling this meant there was a Mirage/Dino planned for first wave, and they found out they couldn't do it with too little time to get a new mold out.

I'd LOVE to see a picture of it.

We aren't entitled to the products that Hasbro advertises to us, but we are entitled to disappointment when they bail on them.

I'm noticing a most unpleasant "screw you, I got mine" attitude towards movie collectors lately. You know, we also prize particular characters and wait with bated breath on every rumor and tease.

I disappoint too. I collect only Decepticons and DotM have no Leader class. Why? Also I have only !14! figures for this time, with HA and DLX Soundwave it will be 16, with Movie Trilogy Soundblaster 17. And who knows if Laserbeak remold will be released. From DotM Hasbro screw a lot. Cancel Prime First Edition.
