i had this guy in another thread, but i had updated the pics 2 or 3 times as i kept going back and adding or changing things on this figure. so now that it is all done, for sure, i figured i would just start a new thread for it so that way people didnt have to go back a few pages to find the updated pics......SO......

here we have Mid-Scan Megatron(non-transforming of coarse). this is my take on Megatron in an inbetween stage, a little mix of Post ROTF and Pre DOTM if you will...

    Mods done to figure...
-8-9 layer paint job(depending on the area)
    -completely new legs(both)
-new right arm including articulated hand
    -new articulated left hand
-entire torso was redone to fill all the empty gaps the figure had
    -damage to head/face
-damage and weathering to entire figure
    -added chains
    -added sculpted cloak

figures used to make this guy....
    ROTF Voyager Megatron
    ROTF LC Megatron
    ROTF Legends Megatron
    ROTF LC Optimus Prime
    ROTF LC Jetfire
    Voyager Long Haul
    Voyager Ironhide
    Dlx Scorpinoc
    Dlx Bonecrusher
    HFTD Dlx Bumblebee

...yes, parts from all these guys all into this little figure lol. seems crazy i know, but it worked :)

i know the pics arent the best, im still working out a few things trying to get the right lighting and focusing on the figure, but i think these work well enough for right now to get the general idea of the figure.

C & C is welcome... thanks and for looking and enjoy!

I'm assuming it's more of a display piece than for messing around with.

Never the less this is pretty Impressive stuff. :D

thanks guys... and the figure is very much so pose-able. the paint job is very durable on this guy. the cloak/cape/whatever is stiffened, so with that on pose-ability is limited somewhat. but it is fully articulated.. Hands open and close and spin, elbows, shoulders, waist, feet, knees, thighs, head.. i just didnt have too much time atm to take a bunch of crazy poses.

as suggested by a friend, im going to try to snap a couple of pics of the figure outside in natural light to help show off some of the figures details. so ill try to do some fun poses to show its full function-ability :)

I've seen this figure in person and man the workmanship in bot construction and paint applications are very impressive. It definitely gives off a strong "sculpture/display" look and feel, however, the way he put this together is sturdy and all the joints offer a lot of range of movement. If I wasn't trying to save up for my own Striker Optimus Prime and the Takara Voyagers TFP Prime and Bulkhead... this figure is one I'd love to have in my collection!
