Dude why do you have to do that? Now my desk is all wet from the droooooool.....

The shield looks awesome though, and I'm kinda breathing the proverbial sigh of relief that I don't need to do a shield now since HasTak is doing it :lol
I'd like to get my hands on one if I get the chance. He looks pretty good.

MURDER hands are still in progress. I'm trying to make it look less awkward in knuckle mode :thumb

As nice as that New Stealth Force / Striker Prime is, he still needs an energon axe to perform a head-and-spine fatality on Megatron. XD

And a little off topic, I just cracked open my FansProject City Commander set and I'm really blown away by the engineering on him. That said, there is one disappointing aspect of this add-on set and that's the hands. They're just so blocky and blah on what is otherwise an awesome armored up Magnus.

Not that I expect you to start making hands and add-ons for third party products, fakebusker, but is there a set of articulated Classics- or Masterpiece-styled Shapeways hands you can recommend or have already made sized for an Ultra figure? Even regular MP Seeker style hands wound do, I think.

    Keep on trucking, fakebusker!

I just got these hands in today and they're awesome! However, they can't hold onto the Buster Prime's gun. Do I need to shave some of the material off?

Nope, they are not designed to hold onto Buster Prime's gun. You would need to cut a slot into the hand to fit the gun handle...

Sorry, I meant Optimus Prime's hands. The 5mm pegs works but it doesn't grip his buster gun because the handle is more of a slot.

Really? They should work as the OP's hands have a hole/slot combination. Several guys here successfully mounted the Buster weapons with no problems at all...Can you show me pictures of the problem areas you are facing?

    Many thanks!

It´s not easy making buster prime holding his gun with the articulated hands, but it works.

The 5mm peg works fine as it is held in securely.

The hand doesn't gripped Buster Prime's gun as the handle has a gap between the palm.

I lifted the two fingers to get a close look that the handle isn't in securely.

I'm probably doing something wrong here as others have said that they were able to have it hold onto.

Okay...I see what you mean. Thanks for your time taking all the pictures!

I actually designed a notch on the inside of the fingers to grip onto the front edge of the buster handle, so hypothetically when you flex the fingers in all the way to 90 deg the notches will click in place to hold the handle firmly. You also have to make sure the handle sits all the way back into the gap in the palm. I know it sounds like a hassle, but that's my current workaround to accommodate posability and the ability to hold weapons.

I understand that Strong Flexible is not the most dimensionally accurate material, but I suspect it might help to scrape away some of the excess material in those notches (both front and back) to allow the handle to sit in completely, comfortably.

    Hope this helps!
