opps.. didn't mean for the title to be all caps..I am not screaming I promise.

First off, huge thanks to BBTS!

If transformation is sacrificed, I like to make it worth it....

I have taken my two favorite movie figures, DOTM JETWING PRIME and the DMK-01 (Optimus model kit) and combined them.

This is a non-transforming representation of the final battle scene Prime flying around and kicking butt, until he gets caught in the cables. lol..

I kept the torso and upper legs of the DOTM leader Prime and added the lower legs from the model kit as well as a bunch of pieces to the torso to add depth and width. I cut the truck panels around the abs to recess them inwards. The head is on double ball joint. Waist is on a ball joint. Each foot has 8 points of articulation.

Fully articulated hands thanks to FAKEBUSKER.

The paint is all urethanes and lacquers.

    OKAY!! In the home stretch!

Nice! I can't wait to get home from vacation to get back working on mine. I like the non-transforming approach and the DMK parts should make it hyper detailed, excellent.

Also if you are not interested in those obnoxiously large cannons PM me for a sale.

So far it look very cool! The legs bother me for some reason.... I assume you will be bulking them up a bit?

So, you are going for a more screen accurate look? I wish you luck with that... he has so many little details that I gave up and decided to do a "fantasy" hyper armored Prime.

This pic looks odd..but the legs are fine in person, but they will get a little more beef.

I am going for are more "accurate"...but the wings would need to be scratch built as the jetwing version looks nothing like the movie... but I will do what I can..

The Takara Jetwing figure is not movie accurate, the "Ultimate" Optimus armor was nowhere to be seen.... I think ANY version of a powered-up Prime is not not going to be truly accurate, which opens the floodgates for the anything-goes type of customs, which are really the most fun :D .

I love the use of the DMK parts. This is a pricey beyotch!

Sentinal prime (who was the leader of autobot) < got owned by megatron (who was the leader of decepticons) < got owned by Jet Optimus Prime (who pretty much owned everyone else in the movie) < got owned by contruction cable (which is probably made by some dude name Freddie) < Freddie is the ultimate winner.

    ALL HAIL FREDDIE!! LOL

By the way, awesome job! You just inspired me (yet again!).

    I'm liking it!

Yeah, he is not accurate, but much closer than ULTIMATE MOTH Prime..lol..
I was thinking about added some of that armor but for this one I wanted to stay closer to the movie.. I think it will be adequate when he is complete!

and yeah.. it was a bit nerve racking when I decided to start cutting on that model kit..

    Thanks bro!! Almost done..

HAHA.. FREDDIE and Jolt...the true most powerful heroes in the TF world..

    my socks!
Thanks...it is like kandy....paint.. which I guess is not that sweet...

haha.. yup.. over $360 for the two.. but I think it is worth it.. I can't wait to get it complete.

Another one... but not like any done before...

    This will be cool!
I wonder if anyone has tried or will try making a Prime with the leader class toy as a base and adding parts from the DMK model. Make it even more screen accurate but keep the transformation...
