Got those Japan exclusive figures today. They're a cross between Gravity Bots and Activators because buttons trigger the Gravity Bots-like transformation, much like current Activators. They're smaller, plastic quality is mainline-like and they roll superbly. Also each figure comes with an extensive sticker sheet to add details (all applied in the pictures). No articulation, like Gravity Bots. I think the only flaw is that the rotating chest is sometimes misaligned in alt mode. Turn it a couple turns and it should realign itself.

They`re ok! My suns been playing with for a while now! Only annoying thing is bumblebees chest, which swivels around 180 degrees during transformation, and never really matches up properly! But to be honest my 2 year old doesn`t worry so much about that!! :)

Gone are the days of McD toys like those they made for Beast Machines (Gosh those were nice as hell) or Beast Wars. I wish they started making toys like those again, but with the declining popularity of the happy meal by the hands of 'health conscious parents' this is likely not going to happen. I laugh at them!

As for obesity epidemics among our youth, why would someone go eat at McD 7 days a week? Srsly. Learn to cook. It's ultimately cheaper and ultimately healthier both physically and psychologically (keeps families together at dinner time, yadda yadda yadda).

Sorry, I turned this into a pro McD pro family values epic.

This is news because no one really knew what they were and are relatively hard to find for people not living in Japan.

^These ones are the second wave of Japanese DOTM happy meal toy that were sold in the week starting from the 5th of August or thereabouts. Probably the same ones as you have :)

The initial wave had 2 non-transforming Prime and Bumblebee figures.

I wouldn't count on it... They could pretty much be sold as regular Transformers here.
