YouTube - Transformers 3 Trailer (G1 Style)
Love the little dialogue between Shockwave and Megatron.
All and all, the video was awesome.
The added sound is absurdly loud.
At the end they were only loud....
But that was kind of the point.... I mean, come on, Optimus is having a battle that is right in front of the camera.
Epic! The dialogue matched the moments perfectly. Love it!
No way man, that damn near blew out my ears at the start. They're still ringing....

Wow...yours is better than mine
The audio is really messed up, and the G1 sound effects and music just sound so incredibly silly over the real life action. Especially the added Megatron/Shockwave dialogue at the end makes no sense in context since neither of them are shown in the trailer. (well, Shockwave is WAY in the background in one quick shot, but still)
I liked it, although the dialogue at the end doesn't work as well, but I liked it a lot.
Well...... It is G1....
Would you rather me do animated or beast wars music and sound effect.... xD
Plus come on, since they are in the movie, I may as well of done that.
Can you do that for the entire movie?
No. That's the thing, this seems pointless no matter what series you dub over it.
Reading the thread title quickly, I thought it was "Doggy style trailer".
I did it for ROTF and I will do it for the 3rd one... =)
Well your the 50% that thinks that but there are tons of people that think it is not pointless and love it.
I get what you were trying to do, I really do, but this just didn't work. The sound was ridiculously loud, the music didn't match, and the voices just don't fit the movie characters.
This is a completely new universe and we know what they sound and act like, and slapping a coat of G1 over it just doesn't make it work.
As I said above, to some people it may not, but some people it may.
And apparently people liked the idea - YouTube - TFG1Style's Channel
