    Go back and watch the G1 episodes Compiled Data Files and City of Steel. Seems like Mr. Bay may have been influenced by these HEAVILY! WOW

    Bay? You mean Kruger. But as far as I'm concerned, DOTM was more or less just a hybrid of the "Megatron's Master Plan" and "The Ultimate Doom" episodes than anything else.

    Sam's car is pretty similar to G1-Bumblebee's alt mode.

    And the whole Prime losing an arm and having to fight without it.

    Also in Compiled Data Files its about Shockwave and Megs planning to use a space bridge to bring Cybertron to Earth.

    Ultimate Doom/Megatron's Masterplan/City of Steel??(only because of Optimus's 1 Arm) You could throw in the episode about the Nurgill and the Sub Atlanticans Abe Lincoln vs Megatron.

    I already have them.
    But really, they look a bit like each other [Judy even says "He reminds me of Bumblebee!" in one scene], I would be surprised if that WASN'T A G1-BB allusion.

    someone in another thread mentioned when bumblebee says "goodbye old friend" after que/wheeljack is killed is a G1 references as those 2 were the first autobots seens in the first episode. been trying to find that thread so if anyone does please pm the link. thanks

    I'm not familiar with a G1 episode named "Compiled Data Files". Are you sure you got this name right?

    Bumblebee's original altmode was a Volkswagen Beetle. The car in DOTM is a Datsun. Not even close. She said it reminded her of Bumblebee because of the yellow and black paint scheme.
