Transformers: Dark of the Moon VFX digitaldomain - YouTube
That's awesome. Pretty cool what people can do with a computer
Dang... makes me want to get back into CG.
Not bad. I thought ILM did most of that stuff, but digital domain gives them a run for their money.
Wow, Makes me love doing VFX even more.
Another awesome find, eagc! Cool video.
It was basically a 70/30 split between ILM and DD, roughly.
that was really entertaining to watch
The scale and effort of CGI in these films never fails to amaze me.
Regardless of how anyone may feel about these movies I doubt anyone can deny the skill and effort and hard work that goes into creating amazing shots like these. And it's also nice to see more recognition here for others that worked on the flim's effects than just ILM.
Incredible. I haven't been wowed by CGI this much since I actually saw DOTM in theatres. It's truly incredible how much work goes into each and every shot with CGI. Now you can really grasp why all CGI sequences like Cybertron, the Decepticons in the Nemesis or Africa, the Moon, etc, are so brief. And in DOTM especially, there seemed to be a lot more CGI sequences than the past two films.
And this was only three scenes of the film in this short video; this is without bots like Sentinel, Optimus, Que, and the mother-frigging Driller. Jesus Christ.
nothing short of impressive there
