I somehow broke the muzzle part of his off gun (the one that doesn't have the Mechtech feature), and now I can't get it to stay on, despite repeated regluing. Any advice?

If you threw the box away, then just carve away the excess glue. If you didn't throw the box away, then exchange it for a new one.

There is no box, it's a carded figure... buying a new one is a last resort anyway.

A carded figure with a bubble on the front. Bubble = Box. Don't be such a wise-ass... did you throw away the bubble or not? Because if you didn't, then the FIRST resort is to return the damn thing for a refund to buy a new one.
And how bout this, if you did throw away the bubble, then drop the ten bucks on another copy of the figure, and then return the broken figure in the new figures bubble.

Have a Pin Vise? Some paperclips?

If you don't have a pin vise... WHY NOT?!

A nice pin vise will save you gas and time taking toys back to the store.

Basically drill a hole into the broken piece, then the main piece, cut a length of straight paperclip, glue it in one part, then glue the broken piece into the main one.

Here's a helpful video to see. This video is about wargaming minis but it applies to toys also. I've pinned a ton of broken stuff!

or buy thundercracker, he comes with roadbuster's saw/gun and starscream's no gimmick blade. hot knifing the area with excessive glue seems to burn them off, and if you're adventurous you can even hot weld the area when the plastic is still hot and melted from the hot knife.
