I was looking at deluxe class DOTM Optimus Prime when I noticed inside on his leg the letters "CE" in a bold stroke. I've seen this same symbol on toys with batterys/electronics. Any one here know if this toy was ever planned to have some electronics? Does this symbol mean something entirely different?

On toys, that symbol signifies that it passed safety standards, I believe.

My Euro boxed Cyberverse Powerglide has the CE logo on the box.

My US Boxed Cyberverse Hatchet doesn't.

So a European safety mark,i would guess.

CE is a certification from the Euro Union, I believe. It means that it meets a certain standard, it has nothing to do with the presence or absence of electronics.

It means that you can play with your toy without the possibility of being harmed by led or poisons which can cause death... remember Mattell????
