I think there is only so much BB and Primes you can pack in a box before retailers realize that we can't sell these and Hasbro will undoubtedly feel the retailers wrath by them not placing any more orders. I still see figures from the 1st movie at full retail at some TRU's and they all BB. Hasbro, please make a case of vehicons and I will be forever grateful. I'll even buy 1 $30 BB.

I saw the $30 tag at the local Target yesterday. I had to scan one to make sure it was for realsies.

The Target by me just dropped the DOTM deluxes down to $15.89  . They even show the "original" price of $30 :lol

Seems like an illegal thing to do, bit since no one bought them at 30, is anyone going to notice?

Pretty sure we just established that's illegal/poor business. Who do we report them to?

Maybe not illegal, but definitely dodgy.

Reeks of desperation too. The line's a year old, and retailers knew well they were over-ordering them. Can't they just cut them to half price and be done with it?

It's merely a mistake being corrected, and then some merchandising employee that has to re-mark tags doing a generically prescribed action of marking any price reduction as a price cut.

Even if it was on purpose (it wasn't), it's shady, but not illegal. They were actually $30 before they were lower.

I'm pretty sure those would be worth some money. Have you seen the price of the first movie figs?

My target had priced them today for $16, with no "previously $30" anywhere on it.

so this whole thing was a ruse to put up a "price cut" sticker while actually raising the prices on these by a few bucks...
