Jet into a lion esque thing.. Count me in =] I was strictly sticking to movie only autobots... But now I might have to break that rule.. Providing it turns up in the uk =p
Vehicle to Beast?... WANT! xD why did it took so much time for them to do this in a correct way for movieverse! (ravage and laserbeak doesn't look too vehicle-ish)
Its not a 4th Generation Fighter I can identify (limited knowledge) which is why I'm asking if anybody knows. The front resembles a Dassault Rafale but it has two tail fins.
The jet mode is basically a Eurofighter with two tails, so that it isn't an exact copy. They didn't really need to bother, because the proportions are always so wrong in non-licensed vehicle modes, that it would probably protect them from any legal issues. But I guess they always stay on the safe side. Anyway, the most obvious differences between the Rafale and the Eurofighter, since you asked, is that the Rafale has the little canard wings much closer to the main wings. And it also has rounded jet intakes on the sides, like an early F-18, compared to the boxy, doubled-up chin intakes of the Eurofighter. The Rafale also has higher mounted wings, with the Eurofighter sitting on top of the wings. So I'd say this jet is much more influenced by the Typhoon than the Rafale, but I guess you could think of it as some generic Euro-jet. Interesting thing is that the "attack drones" which "convert to cannons!" look very much like Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles, carried by both Eurofighters and French Rafales. I will be buying this just for the vehicle mode. I think it's only the second "Eurofighter" Transformer after Generation 2 Eagle Eye.
That's pretty sick! I haven't been excited about any DOTM aside form Leader Sentinel and Ironhide, but this is one I'll probably get
Sold! I love TFs that have not so obvious robot modes, but proper Transformations as well. Ravage, Fallen, i'm looking at you.
