is it just me or did the SDCC pictures of air raid looked so much better than this

 

Darksteel's head sculpt is just odd enough to interest me.

 

Funny how the official pics are always a most unflattering mistransformed mess.

 

I might get Air Raid if I see it at retail, but it doesn't look very impressive and isn't a high priority. I may even just wait for a sale or wait and see if the mold gets reused with a better colour scheme at some point.

Whoa!! somebody really mixed up a batch of Christmas green color, didn't they?? Not exactly a good color for "stealth mode" that's for sure.  

 

I thought that Air Raid was a Cyberverse Commander. I like the look of it even less now that I see it's a Deluxe. "Pew"

Darksteel on the other hand actually looks pretty cool in these pics. If he is indeed that dark shade in person, and not a light brown that he was in earlier pics, I may just have to pick that guy up.

 

I'll definately get air raid and probably dark steel....But...No sign of Mirage, Wheeljack and Soundwave yet? Wave 6 perhaps? Leadfoot too of course. It just seems odd that four brand new molds would be grouped together in wave 6...Or is this not all of 5?

 

Well, "respected Decepticon" narrows down the list. There's got to be, like, 3 Decepticons who get a shred of respect. Here's hoping it's hinting at a future release.

Air Raid looks like n Insecticon in bot mode, Darksteel looks intresting nd Armor Topspin is ok. My custom Topspin is better! ; ) ill still buy jus to support my habit lol

 

I love the Topspin Deluxe figure, but I'll stick with the regular one (and the Twin Twist repaint/retool). Darksteel is bought once I see it in stores, if those images accurately reflect the deco and aren't tricks of Photoshop. I'm still disappointed by the look of Air Raid in both modes.

 

Every time I see "Dark of the Moon" and "Wave" in the same title, I get excited only to be disappoint
when it's the same toys we saw a few weeks ago or repaints... -_-

 

Darksteel is cool. I like the weapon.
