Up and down yes, it is a little limited though. Sad to see no swivel in it. I just picked up 2 of these guys. Check your Kmarts people. Not in the aisle in line, there was a cardboard pallet display set up in between depts. It was filled with all the newest waves of Deluxes (TC, Laserbeak), Leaders (Ironhide), Voyagers (FBOP, Sentinel) and Cyberverse commanders (Hatchet, FSOP).
This guy is AWESOME. Only seen him in Kmart, in their cardboard display in the aisles, the aisle I saw was in the main walkways behind the diecast car toys. Anyways anyone mad that the Cyberverse toys aren't scout-sized, you won't be disappointed with this one. This toy definitely seems like a scout toy shoved into the Cyberverse Commander packaging; he's the biggest Commander so far! Looks wickedly bad ass too. Dig the Eurofighter concept alt mode, always preferred the dual vertical stabilizers. Mold seems like it's BEGGING for a Skylynx repaint down the line. I also dig that all 3 dreads in the Cyberverse line each have completely different alt and robot modes. Movie accuracy out the window but I don't give a %^&*( uniqueness=WIN.
I wouldn't mind a Tigerhawk repaint, either. As for movie accuracy, the three dreads DID have three different robot modes, mostly accuarately depicted here on the toys, they just all had the same SUV alt mode.
Ah, forgot they were different bot modes, I haven't seen it yet, just been reading reviews. I dig how the toys are all different! Hoping we get bigger versions, I would NOT MIND a voyager jet Hatchet since this Commander one turned out so well! Gonna try that gun combine thing
Saw one today, but skipped him and got Megatron instead. Regardless, I'm definetly gonna get him. Looks great with the other Dreads. Hope we get a Tigerhawk or Sky Lynx repaint.
Found me a HATCHET in Walgreens Awesome little guy. Actually amazed he's not a basic considering the semi complex transformation and his overall size alone. such an amazing piece. (awww, what Ravage could have been)
I have to say, I like this guy, but not as much as I thought I would. He just doesn't have the same feel as the other Dreads. Also, he has no dreads. He does look better in person though! IMO he looks better without the guns, which are being held by Crowbar and Crankcase in my collection. But people are right- this guy is HUGE even for a Commander! He's got more mass than Ironhide and turns into a bigger robot.
Just picked this guy up today....he's a fun little transformer fo sho...now all we need is a leash and something else to complete the movie look!
I was extremely fortunate to find a lone Hatchet at my local Target. Hatchet was by far my most anticipated DOTM toy, and he doesn't disappoint in the slightest. Now to (im)patiently wait for the release of the Cyberverse Commander Shockwave .
