When I got my Crankcase figure, I was dissapointed with two things:

    • 1) The lack of detail in the entire thing
      2) The DREADed amount of kibble.

I couldn't figure out any mods for the DREADed kibble and keep him transformable or movie-accurate (although I estimate movie-accuracy was out of the question the minute they released him.)

Excuse the iPod camera quality. It looks a lot better if you zoom the page out, so do that.

Drybrushing looks pretty well done, but I can't see the detail because of the photo quality. Looks like you missed painting the eyes, btw.

    This one

    Expect this: nice job

And the pic quality does the rest. And on the altmodeparts is clearly to see that there's drybrush :)

I didn't intentionally drybrush. This is how that got there:

I was holding a paintbrush and Crankcase in one hand while pushing away our cat. I had assumed that the silver paint rubbed onto that bit. I got as much of the paintoff as I could, but these specks remained. Does anyone know how to remove enamel paint?
