    I was reading the bluray.com review for the bare bones DOTM Blu ray and under Extras they said that it included a coupon towards the upcoming special 3D edition. I hadn't heard of this before so if it's old news please forgive me.

    I don't think so because the main reason I posted this was so that people who were either defiantly getting both versions or who were on the border about getting the regular edition would know that they wouldn't have to pay full price again come December.

    Fair enough, but there should be a thread somewhere dedicated to the pre-order and exclusive offers for this movie IMHO.
