Interesting attempt at a low kibble airplane..... but the gangly robot mode, the coloring, it just looks like some sort of runner bean mascot to me. And the right arm flat out bugs me. Or alternatively, the color blocking instills patriotic feelings in me, and perhaps makes me think of Aer Lingus.
Hm. The "flail and shield" weapon combo is kinda neat (kind of gladiator-ish) and I like how the plane engines end up positioned to look a bit like a jetpack in robot mode. But man, those skinny, featureless legs with their obvious hinges just look so boring. It feels like a bit of a rushed attempt overall. Still probably worth a purchase, but not a particularly exciting figure.
I'm not seeing the issue with the legs, other than the tips of his "boots" looking too blunt...I'd say this guy's still bought on sight for me, though I admit I'm biased in that I love the model of plane he is.
And people criticize Beast Wars for having animal heads for hands! At least you can pick stuff up with the mouth, this guy is just crippled for life.
Okay, they really should have made a real right hand and have him able to just hold the weapon... Pass.
Terrible. Maybe could have worked as a voyager with better limbs. (i do like how the wings and engines end up in 'bot mode)
This is the WORST figure from the whole line... WTF? Nice to see a new mold but only if it looks good... Weve got a few more repaint / repacks until the end of the year, right? I'm SO ready for Prime figures...
