Where I can find a Statue Base 1"x5"x5"? Are there any online stores or dose Michaels have it?
The net d-o-e-s have acrylic bases and risers if you don't mind the clear look. Google acrylic bases or acrylic riser or wood base. Plastic too. That's what I'd do. Outside that, if you have some specific idea in your head, might be cheaper and easier to head to Michaels and build it yourself. What's it for?
Its for my new Jim lee Superman Statue I got a few days ago.
Ah. That's sweet.
Check Michaels and Joanne Fabrics. They have already routered pieces of wood in various sizes, ovals and squares, for pretty cheap. I've grabbed some for model bases I've sculpted in the past, and it's a quick and easy fix for what I think you're going for.
OR you can check local High Schools for afterschool woodshop classes for adults, basically for 5 bucks they let you in to use the tools after hours and you can cut and router your own piece of wood to your own specs and get it exactly how you want it, easy peazy.
^^^^^Thats where i am going tomorrow Michaels. Thanx for all the help guys. Much Appreciated.
