Anyone else watching these delusional morons?
It's on Discovery. People who pay a guy $450,000 to build them an underground house in case of a "doomsday" scenario. Fucking nutbars.
except in theory, there will one day be a doomsday, and an end to the world.
there for their so called delusions aren't so much that.
after all everything ends someday. including the world.
If they have the money and want to go to extreme levels of being prepared, more power to them.
It sure will. In a billion years or so when the sun goes red giant and consumes it.
Just call it a Man Cave and you're set. Enjoy it both in the good times and the doom times.
Well, I'm not going to get into the views of some people, but should they have no use for the bunkers if the "BIG event" happens, then that's such a waste of money. I would at least hope that they live somewhere they can put it to good use, like if they always get tornadoes then they'd be able to hide there. For my personally, I wouldn't mind keeping a gun in the house because I know some people are going to act crazy around the date the "preppers" are worrying about.
Wouldn't mind having some kind of "safe place" but def not for half a mil!
So, you know for sure they are delusional?
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
Yup. Delusional and extremely paranoid.
That's not an answer.
To be honest, those bunkers will, at worst, not protect you from whatever catastrophe happens, and at best allow you to survive into a period where the living envy the dead.
Better to spend that money on preventing whatever disasters they're afraid of in the first place.
I'd rather be out there among my zombie brethren happily eating braaaaiiins than cooped up afraid in a bunker.
Those bunkers can take a lot of abuse.
They have plenty of food to keep them alive until they can go back outside again.
But what if the sewage system is the first casualty of the hypothetical catastrophe?
Enjoy living in a septic tank.
I believe they have that under control.
You can email them and find out.
To be fair, it's the price of a small ranch home. That ain't much to most people.
Da fuk you mean most people? No one I know could afford that.
No shit. I paid a 3rd of that for my home, which is a small, ranch style.
