That's right. Tomorrow, April 18th is officially Record Store Day. Check out the website RECORD STORE DAY - Home and find your nearest participating house of wax. Who knows? You may actually have a good time.

I plan on going. There's a Tom Waits 7" with my name on it. :)

Man, the nearest record store for me is almost an hour away. Don't know if I can make it.

I wish I still lived in northern calif. I used to spend hours at Ameoba and Open Mind in SF. :dj

I dunno, I've always viewed digital music as inferior in terms of sound. Personally I'm more interested in sound dynamics than whatever the latest gee-whiz gadget is, but it doesn't really matter as long as you enjoy what you are listening to. It would be a dull world if there were only digital music players or if there were only analog music players. Plenty of room for all sorts. :)

As I said, give it a shot. You may be surprised by how much better the music sounds on this 'inferior' technology. Not to mention there is something strangely addictive about those vinyl sleeves.

I'll be spinning Led Zeppelin IV backwards in tribute. :rock

Vinyl FTW, but damn they take up a lot of space.

    Absolutely.

It's worth the space they take up. Being able to hear everything from Pet Shop Boys to Radiohead on vinyl is pure win.
