My parents did and my mom is regretting it now. A) They charge you $75 to find out what your pay off is. B) They include interest on the payoff that is "unlisted" that isn't on the paper they send you. C) So when you're short (and you will thanks to B), they send it back to the bank, but not your account. Just an account with no name or number attached to it. The bank wasn't sure where it went so they were waiting for someone to claim it. Not the bank she goes to, mind you, but the one downtown. They almost gave my mom a heartattack today, because she thought they lost the $70,000 from my dad's life insurance policy. Fucking bastards! <-- This fails to show how utterly pissed I am at theses PoS' right now.
