No. Even if William Shakesphere wrote the script for Transformers. Bay will abridge it place in explosions instead of charecters and story.

Sorry but there no excuse for the crap he does.

 

Michael Bay is the director of the movie - the chief, the king, the grand poobah. What happens in the movie is his vision for the story being told - and whatever makes it in to the movie or is cut from the movie is on him. So, in any event, the main portion of blame and/or praise should rightfully fall on his shoulders.

 

That's bull because it was the writing that made RotF the least liked of the franchise while it was that same writing that made the 07 and DotM movie the preferred favorites that they are.

Sorry you don't like them. Lots of folks did. Deal with it.

 

And yet Ehran Kruger has been brought in for a third film. If it was just the writer, why hasn't Bay replaced Kruger? I don't see Bay as the sort to care about writers like Spielberg cares about him. Maybe Shia but not Kruger.

Also, isn't it Bay who cuts down the stories, not Kruger? Because if so, Kruger had a good story but Bay did a crap job of adapted it into a film.

 

In answer to your first section of post, Bay cannot accept all the acclaim he gets as being his without shouldering criticism also. Such are the burdens (fair or not) of being the director.

In response to your second section; I'd probably want to assemble a team of at least four writers......or borrow all of the writers from BioWare's Mass Effect 3 team. Except Casey Hudson, fuck that guy.
