Still more G1 ?? In what way ??!

So because problems with the other car companies they coudn't pick the cars they wanted ???? CURSE YOUUUUUUUUU ,CAR COMPANIES!!! CURSE YOU ALLLL !! >( .... Love that conspiracy comment by the reporter after Don said all the cars are to be GM. lol:D

Megatron's earth-mode is a secret ,eh ??? -_- Rumors and hype won't stop then. JESUS !! Makes you think and hope alot !!! :)

So that's the deal with the TFs height ??? okay !! I got it now !!!

Hmmm!! -_- I wonder!!..If the size on the TFs depends on the size and mass of the vechicle for which they scan ,then what vehicle is Megatron going to scan for he's 34ft height ?? A jet can't be. Any BIG war vehicle yes ,but not a jet fighter !! The guy is going to be big badass villian of the movie and makes you think indeed.

Some fans are happy ,others not........depending what they see ,of course !!!!

The more I listen to this, the more I think it was really about PR and temporarily quelling fan hatred than it was a good news interview. The fact that he said it's more G1 than anything else just can't be true (after seeing the script and the names of various things along with the plot-ling). These TF's don't look anything like G1, some only have a very loose association with their namesakes. Even Prime is pretty different than his G1 self. I think a solid red cab would have looked much more real and less attention drawing than the current one with flames. And I thought Starscream was the biggest??? The F-22 raptor is HUGE, I see them all the time flying around (I live near where they are made and tested). The robot form of an F-22 would be much bigger than any vehicle. It's around 60 feet long. The F-15 was only around 50 feet long. An Abrams tank is only like 35 feet long, so there just isn't that much mass to bigger than Starscream. Same goes for Optimus's cab size.

I like the mention of subtle fan tidbits that we'll have to look for.

I wish that fan-questions sounded half as normal as reporters. I cringe at the way half those guys keep the fanboy stereotype going.

Good for Don Murphy for being so out there. I haven't made my mind up on the film (and won't 'til I see it), but it's nice that he's making an effort to involve the fandom.

I listened to both parts in conjunction

Decent enough I suppose. Don comments seem to mirror comments said by other fandom members regarding the movie. Which for some reason I find amusing. I look forward to part 3 next week

That's just how it is at Conventions Squirrelcar.

For instance whenever a G1 vA is at a Con you can count on someone asking "How was it working with Chris Latta". Nothing you can do about the stereotype other then not perpetuate it yourself :)
