I guess everyone agrees, while Don's a great actor, Terrence should remain for consistency.

 

I will see the film, and this doesn't "bother" me.
I do boggle a little at the seeming randomness and seeming nonsensical reasoning for doing this.

 

Cheadle's a good actor, but I hate recasts.

On side note, I do think they should've gone with somebody who at least somewhat resembled Howard, like Jamie Foxx or Cuba Gooding, Jr., so this wouldn't have been as awkward.

 

Michael Jai White would have been a BADASS War Machine.

I must be one of the very few that wasn't impressed or enamored by Howard's Rhodey. He missed the mark as far as I'm concerned. Downey Jr. absolutely nailed Tony, but Howard's Rhodey just seemed like a generic army guy. They could've changed his name from James Rhodes to something else and it wouldn't have affected the movie one iota.

Maybe Cheadle will do a better Rhodey.

& I don't really know who Michael Jai White is but considering what I remember War Machine being, the big, strong, slow, gun blazing armour, I would prefer him to the current actor


& as for the above post, I see it kind of untrue about the contract increase that lead to Howard's drop

 

Cheadle seems like a skinny dude and just doesn't look mean no matter how buff they can get him. Michael Jai White would just have to be himself to fit the role.

all i have to say is Favreu will have to bust his ass to fit Cheadle in in place of someone else

i think Jamie Fox would make a cool Falcon tho....if they did it Ultimates style as in Ultimate Nightmare.....

 

White wouldn't have been bad. Likewise, I think Jamie Foxx still would've been one of mine top contenders.

Regardless, Cheadle is a great actor, and I'm curious to see what he'll do with the role.
