Not sure if this was heavy mod worthy or not but a buttload of work went into making this guy.

Dog was made from 3 TFs: Movie Dreadwing, RoTF Breakaway, and the little Omnibot jet. Resculpted the head and the feet. Reworked the wings to go backwards. After a huge overhall on the cockpit insides the new head fits and can be popped up like it was supposed to on the original toy. Also used a busted tail fin on Breakaway to make the single fin on DF here.

One paint job later we get Dogfight.

One more thing to note is the paint scheme is a mix of the G1 toy, Dreamwave and Marvel art. Used lots of pic of him as reference and in the end mixed matched and just painted it to what I thought looked cool.

This looks awsome, It really does. But I would have painted the canopy so as not to see his face in alt mode.

This guy rocks. You definitely got more out of the mold than I thought possible.

Nice! How hard was it to re-work the wings to sweep forward like that? This gives me an idea I'd like to follow up on, just need to know how to do that wing mod. Many thanks in advance!

I own this mold. To understand how shit it really is you have to own it. Its heinous. You sir have pulled every bit of potential out of this craptastic mold and turned your efforts into something thats actually a lot better than the original.

Just my opinion. I know there are a lot of people that are gonna hate on me for it but thats the way I feel.

That is sweet! I'd wouldn't mind that mold if Has/Tak had done to it what you've done.

Thanks guys! had no idea everyone would take to him so well. As far as the wing mod goes there is really nothing I can say about it other than it took about 2hrs worth of trial and error. To try to explain how I did it would take a lot but I can tell you that I used Dreadwing wings, GI Joe pieces from a Sigma 6 weapon, Styrene, Apoxy sculpt, and screws that are slightly larger than the holethe wings come from.

Very cool! Nice use of parts as well. The jet mode reminds me of Terradive.
