Usually when people post on forums, they complain about stuff. So instead of complaints or fanboyism, I just want to do a straight poll to see what kind of results we get from this forum alone.

So the question is, does your MP Rodimus has QC Issues?

I have no QC issues but I have been careful with him. He is my first MP but the plastic seems really thin.

No issues that I can find, but it does feel very delicate and I fear breaking something off when I transform it. I guess I got lucky on this one.

One of my leg panels fell off and the spring on the same foot has come out a little. I haven't tried to fix the spring yet because I'm honestly not sure what happens if it comes out like this and whether it's a negligible flaw or not.

Both of these happened after several transformations, though. Out of the box he was fine.

All of them have at least one QC issue I think: the wings scratching the paint from the inner part of the trailer and keeping marks of it.

That's the only one mine got fortunately.

Leg panel connector was cracked and fell off by touching it.

Mine is fine, everything clips together normal. But I have been very very careful. Just looking at it you know it's not gonna be as sturdy as MP Optimus, so just be careful when handling it.

Wow, out of this thread, like half the people had the same problem as me with the leg panel. That's really bad.

Technically yes- tiny scuff on the wing- but it's almost unnoticeable. I voted no.

I voted yes, but instead of it being any major issue it's several smaller issues.

Mine has the foot spring issue. Also, Rodimus always wants to wear his visor. if I leave him alone for 10 minutes, his visor falls down.

Nope, unless this minor paint mark counts?

Besides, the Spoiler paint problems rub off btw.:2c:

EDIT: and you probably should of been more specific. Are your problems MINOR or Major?

I sanded the slots on my trailer down before I tried putting the spoiler in it. Took a little while, but I got to the point where the trailer doesn't even slightly damage the spoiler. I assume the problem came from the parts being designed to fit snugly together as plastic on plastic and no one took into account the fact that both pieces would be painted.

It's a poorly designed connection. Using a screw to hold the panel on means that the plastic on the inside on the panel socket can easily strip away.

Nothing major unlike some people but I have loads of little ones instead, like a gob of paint on the inside(!?) of the visor, some of the pipes don't plug in properly etc, and i can't for anything get all 4 wheels to stand in car mode but that seems to be flaw by design.

It can be done:2c: . The thing with car mode is everything must be PERFECT.

Check feet position, make sure the arms plug into the side (those tabs next to the feet hold them in place), turn head around... Peaugh did a wonderful job of explaining the transformation.

My Problem was the hands can be pushed off center (Wonder why?), which was why I could never plug them into those side tabs in Vehicle mode. Once I moved his hands into the center position, FIXED:thumbs2:

I think Rodimus is just getting so much hate because he is difficult on another level. Any incorrect placement of limbs leaves rodimus on 3 wheels:lol .
If you don't follow the directions or watch that Peaugh review, its never going to happen.

I wonder if this difficulty is a direct result of the hate MP Grimlock got during its initial release. I read plenty of reviews bashing him for being so "simple". Well, Takara took notice apparently :lol . The fans wanted a complex Transformer and we got one

EDIT: BTW, I LOVE Rodimus but wish his Transformation wasn't such a pain in the ass! For the next MP, lets go simple please lol

simple mps are nice when the character design allows it, but not if it doesn't (mp megs would have been a crappy figure if it was simple, same with rodimus)
