I was checking out all my Classic Transformers and noticed that my Megatron does not have a rub sign on him any were. Do any of the fans out here noticed the same or is mine a fluke? If so were is it located on him? There is a small square in the top of his cannon that looks like a place for it. Give your data!!!!!

this was discussed in the feedback section. None of them have a rubsign. Don't know why, but they don't. www.reprolabels.com sells them if you need one.

No rubsign on my Megatron and he doesn't need one. Like anyone's going to doubt his allegiance.

There would be no point because he has a Huge Decepticon logo on his chest

Yes, and two on his scope. My guess is that Hasbro let Megatron have conventional faction symbols to further add to the "this is a not a real gun!" factor. And since they had molded and painted faction symbols on him, why bother with the rub sign?

There's a square molded into the top of his scope that would have been where his rub sign was placed. But think about it, the whole point of the rub signs is the "robots in disguise" theme that G1 had, thus Classics have... but there's no hiding Megatron, he's specifically made to not look real. They must have figured there was no point to it... which there isn't.

Yup, Megatron would want to announce his allegiance proudly.... disguise be damned. Maybe it was just an oversight on their part not giving him a rubsign, but personally I like to think they did it deliberately. In which case it was a nice little bit of attention to detail!

Yeah it's pretty pointless to have a rubsign on top of all those gigantic Decepticon insignias, but I'd still like to get one and stick it on the molded square at some point since all the rest of the Classics have them too.
