Does for me.... a very small bit...
No. It doesn't transform.
I wont know till i buy it but it probably will
Who said that?
it's just vehicles that combine into devastator, not individual robots that combine.
Have you not been reading the news? They're a bunch of construction vehicles that combine into one large robot.
Combining does not equal transforming
It's like.. Meh....
It satisfies me every night.
I'm so lonely.
the monster-wise figure is great, as a devastator
but, the two versions bit ... meh
It looks decent, it's the lack of functionality for the price that kills my excitement for it.
It looks awful so no.
I like it! Im glad I can have a nice movie accurate looking devastator, because he wouldn't have looked near is nice, if the individual bots transformed into robots as well.
What I am dissapointed in, is the shit-tastic excavator who looks like a pre-school toy. The bulldozer guy got mad detailing, and the excavator guy who is a bigger voyager class, get dick all for moulding and detailing.
at first I forgave the exacavator for being shit-tastic because I thought it combined, but nope. He's just crap.
Says who? The individual components still transform into the limbs. Though I put 'Sorta" for the same reasons I put in the other Devastator thread:
So yeah, if he were smaller and cheaper, I'd go for it.
Wheather the Devastator design looks good or bad, it is hard for me to say right now.
Says me, for one. When i think of "transforming", I think of robot>vehicle/animal, not vehicle/body part.
Transformers with no robot mode = NOT Transformers.
Well I say that as long as they are robots (which even in vehicle mode they are, just not in a physical robotic form, computers or whatever, i guess taht would make better sense) and transform to SOME degree and there is an actual robot involved, THAT's a Transformer, albeit not my ideal representation of one, but saying it doesn't transform and isn't a Transformer is blatantly incorrect.
Plus, it's not like they don't transform into robots in the movie, think of it more like a really big FAB, simple for the kiddies. Though I didn't really want an FAB Devastator. (I'll probably end up modding the individual robots myself since I doubt Hasbro will)
EDIT: Why am I even arguing with you in TWO threads?
So by that definition all those crappy Japanese two/three/four vehicles combining into a robot are transformers?
(duocons are not tfs to me)
oh darn, that thing is Devastator? my bad, i thought we were getting a look at the next power rangers megazord
seriously Hasbro, come on! those arent Transformers, but Zords. FAIL
