I just loath Grimlock's voice.
i like the show...it seems like it's having a build up of introducing us to the eventual decepticon army megatronus will lead.
also fracture is awesome as was the grimlock vs groundpounder fight.
RID Grimlock isn't bright but he doesn't sound like a caveman which is nice.
It works for this Grimlock.
Just watched the latest six episodes.
The Season Finale was great. The show had a slow start, but it definitely got better.
I just want to say, as someone who's critical of every episode, I'm on episode 25, and so far these newer episodes are WAY better than the previous ones. Episodes 21 and 24 are especially great.
Guys! IT GOT BETTER! Happy days!
Bee has his own battlecry now
("Rev up and roll out!")
and I'm blooming happy that
Optimus Prime is back!
I'm like 8 episodes in and I'm very underwhelmed by this series.....
Well, it does make some half-hearted attempts at a story in season two, and characters from TFP turn up occasionally. Plus, they try to give the show a tiny bit more atmosphere. Other than that, the show never really deviates from what you'd be seeing around episode 8.
Damn, that's really disappointing. I don't think I can sit through anymore of this series
Well, I do think season two's a little better. If you want to give it a try, you can just skip to the two-part season one finale Battlegrounds. Of course, there will be a few character you haven't seen introduced. If you wanna limit the rest of your watch through of season one to just character introductions, assuming you have watched to episode 8, then
Spoiler: These are the episodes that introduce them
Hunting Season, Out of Focus, Sideways, Lockout, and the Buzz On Windblade. Plus, an Autobot turns up in Can You Dig It, but so far, has not returned. If you want to watch that last one anyway, it would be the first one, not that the order of these matters much.
Actually its gotten worse. Maybe next season will go back to the magic of the first one.
So I'm still watching Prime & I'm eager to watch this afterwards. But everywhere I go I see nothing but frustration at how "simple" & "formulaic" RID2015 apparently is. Maybe for some adults, yeah. But remember that we aren't the target audience here guys & gals. Kids are. And this storytelling method is all over their media. Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Power Rangers, Digimon, Kamen Rider, Pretty Cure, etc. This is no different than any of those series, so it's probably gonna do okay enough with that demographic as a result which is all that matters. I'm looking forward to this series no matter what.
The first 13 episodes that aired had two that made me questioning if I realy want to continue and the better ones weren´t all that exiting ether.
The rest of the season had only one bad episode and the good ones were more interesting.
Season 2 didn´t have realy bad episodes.
Yes, it does get better.
Note that I said "first 13 episodes that aired" not the first halve. I don´t know why they switcht "Sideways" and "Out of Focus" but "Sideways" makes a better midseason finale storywise and is my second bad episode. Also "Out of Focus" works like an opener.
I thought it does for the most part.
The low point for me is the end of Season 1 and the start of Season 2. I enjoyed everything from that point forward on.
No, it pretty much stays the same.
The series as a whole just gets worse and worse
IDK But, with decepticon madness i'll give more chance to the show, and if soundwave gets major and decent role, i'll continue watching the series.
For whatever it's worth, I enjoyed the 19 episode second season more than I enjoyed the first season.
I felt the stakes were a lot higher, the callbacks to Prime were nice and the finales were really solid.
Season 1's finale was garbage.
The only episode I enjoy are
Can You Dig It?
Decepticon Island (Part 1)
Decepticon Island (Part 2)
Mighty Big Trouble
Everything else is just really boring. I do not enjoy the Decepticon of the week formula. I did not like it in Animated and do not like it in this show. But I will give Animated that the Decepticons in that universe should take a while team to take down and had A listers like Megatron and Starscream. This series is basically the D squad of Decepticons yet it will take an entire episode of Autobots that include Bumblebee, Grimlock, Drift and sometimes even Optimus Prime to defeat.
The only note worthy episodes are those that introduce a new Autobot. Such as Jazz and Drift or close out a story arc like Season 2 and 2.5.
