I have STARED at the new Movie Prime Pics and I really believe that his tires are rubber ones? Yay!
If they aren't, they are still really good looking plastic tires.
Which movie Prime are we talking about? That one that looks like it's Masterpiece quality?
I'm pretty sure he's talking about the Leader Class sized one. If it does, that is awesome, but if it doesn't, oh well, I'm still going to be getting it. Peace out.
I'd prefer it if they aren't rubber. Rubber tires are really nice in the short term, but eventually they split, harden, or rot.
I don't believe Leader Class, Voyager Class, nor Deluxe Class prime have rubber tires, they are all plastic
Although they do look like rubber, I can't see Hasbro going to the trouble of moulding two-piece wheels when they've been solid plastic for so long now.
I'm wondering if the rubber look is caused by a combination of photoshop and a greater level of detail that is sometimes found on test shots when compared to the retail product.
I suspect that too, though rubber would be nice.
I don't think they mold rubber from the resin hardcopies, so the presence of the tyres on them probably suggests they'll be plastic.
All these versions of Prime are going to get confusing. It's worse than the Convoys in Galaxy Force.
What he said.
Usually when I've seen the gray prototypes on toys with rubber tires, the tires were black. This does not appear to be the case with the Prime proto pix.
