Does clear plastic yellow?

    I saw just wondering, if white plastic yellows over time in sunlight, would clear plastic do the same. I worry for my Ligier :(

    yes it will just like any color plastic. I beleive clear white would actually be worse for yellowing than normal white, cause as soon as it starts itll be instantly noticeable

    Clear plastic yellows and yellows badly and noticeably. The TF@TM guys commented on it last year at Auto Assembly with their Secret Starscream.

    I was wondering about this to in my sun-thread. This is why I'm getting curtains put in my room is to protect my Starscream Ghost figures. :) 
    How is black effected?

    I guess it depends on how black. Probably gains a brown tint or something if it's bad enough.

    Yes, most plastics yellow.

    Yes it does. Not only did my G1 Ratchet's white plastic yellow, but so did his windshield.

    Toy factories should switch to translucent acrylic. It neither cracks easily, nor yellows (at all). I know from firsthand observations working with it for damn near my entire life.
