Stupid Australia and their 2nd amendment.

 

This Australian ban on Megatron is ridiculous. I am a big guy but the toy is massive even for my hand. The only reason that it could pass for a real gun here is that so few people in our society have actually seen a real gun.

Megatron will never again be a gun and Soundwave will never again be a cassette/media player.

 

I suppose they could do it in bright apple green and purple r Purple with orange blotches - but in general Hasbro are nevervous of guns - however since they do make Water pistols and foam dart guns and lasertag type things that would look a lot more like a gun than Megs does (being so oversized as he is) I guess the reason might be that they think people would not except such a mad colour.

I'd not mind if they made him off-white for example (no chrome). perhaps instead of wishing on him as a USA release instead the thing to hope for is an Asian Market exclusive in Hasbro style packaging then it will sidestep the issue a bit and it wouldn't cost $250.00.

Personally I await with interest to see if the next MP megs is a Gun, a tank or a Jet.

 

I really don't understand why they can't sell the Megatron who turns into a brightly colored toy NERF gun, but they can still sell the NERF gun he was based on.

 

Energon sixshot colours, G2 Tank Megatron or indeed Archforce colours on Voyager Megatron might be fun to see.. Perhaps that would persuade them to change their mind on issuing him again.

Indeed. And just look at all the kids Star Wars toy roleplay guns. Some of those look like Classics Megatron or even more realistic in shape and colour and yet those are still allowed to be sold.

 

I'm shure he will come !! as soon as they make MP BW megatron, a long overdue figure!

 

I gave up trying to make any sense out of why certain stuff is okay and why certain stuff is banned. Because it doesn't make ANY sense whatsoever.

 

Highly unlikely, I think the best bet at the moment is to hope for a MP G2 tank megatron as MP 12 or 13

 

Is it just me who finds it ironic that whilst you can't buy the toy that turns into a gun, buying the actual real live firearm itself is perfectly acceptable. America makes me lol sometimes.

 

I *guess* that's because thay fall under a different category when being patented or something.

 

Or it's a conspiracy! Hasbro knows gun Megatrons won't sell as well as other alt-mode Megatrons, and thus avoid making gun Megatrons!
