Maybe im nuts, but wasn't there a website one time that allowed you to choose you figures from a drop down and add it to your collection? I think it also showed you what they were worth
My biggest problem is forgetting to delete figures I sell from my list. lol. I do like that they have 3rd party figures on there now as well.
Hi guys....I'm part of ShelfLife exec so if you have any questions/concerns/complaints throw them my way or reach out via , James A few hot upcoming upgrades worth noting: 1) We're launching auto-matching of Wants & Haves this week. Imagine Ebay doing all of the work for you finding what you want...that would be us 2) Collector Dashboard with Collector Score and really sweet collection photo gallery support within the month [/IMG] 3) Full integration with fan boards like TFW2005.com BST threads within the month as well...you'll be able to export your SL collection filtered by things for sale straight to your BST thread
It'd be interesting to know exactly how the ranking works over there. The top 30 list shows an X/Y score but it doesn't map to anything on your own summary and I can't find a full listing so we don't know how it spaces out. Still, if you take the user IDs at face value, ~300 out of 2400+ isn't anything to sneeze at.
Wow, I didn't know that they had a site online for stuff like this. I'll have to give Shelflife a look. Oh, it's ShelflifeX (without the X, I couldn't find it). lol
For the record we started with ShelfLifex.com but we acquired ShelfLife.net a couple weeks back so we're slowly transitioning everything over to that address. Our collector service email is still for now. Cheers! James
One suggestion, would help if you might try to include other foreign currencies Not everyone out there transacts in US dollars
Yep, high on our priority list. It's just a crazy Paypal integration hassle because of all the logic we surround it with. We'll be aiming for CDN and UK shortly. If you have a specific request and are willing to spread the word in your home country, just let us know and we'll try to help asap. James
...wow. Adding this site to my bookmarks now. Incidentally, I noticed you have a 'dolls' section. My fiancee's been looking for a shmax-like site to keep track of her Monster High dolls. Do you have any plans to add them to your site?
Nice set of updates coming. Definitely looking forward to it. Loving the site so far. I'm currently at #91 but I havent updated in a while. My collection is big but the people with a better rank have very impressive collections.
I'm currently #61 on shmax, but I'm not sure exactly how it counts everything. For example, I consider my SDCC Bruticus to be 5 separate bots, but shmax seems to group them all together as one. Also, shmax rank doesn't really take into account collection "quality." Someone may have a low rank on shmax because they don't have as many TFs as other people, but they may have everything MISB along with some super-rare and valuable pieces. On the other side of the coin, someone may have a high rank just because they happen to have a ton of Legends class figures. Cheap and easy to buy many of.
Yep, pretty sure the curator that is wrapping up Gem dolls is moving on to Monster High next. Of course if your fiancee wants to sign up as a curator for Monster High, we'd be glad to have her. p.s. You can all join our Facebook page to get regular updates and direct comments straight at our face over here: http://www.facebook.com/shelflifex Cheers! James
They consider SDCC Bruticus to be one release because it was released as such during SDCC. It will count them as individual releases if they were released as such. I do feel the prices listed at Shmax gets a bit wonky sometimes, probably due to the way it considers sales as the prices.
