Been wracking my brain trying to remember these toys. They were rocks/plants that changed into monters....I had a ton of them, probably still do, but I can't remember the brand.

I can sorta even remember the commercial.

If anyone remembers, please post what they are called! Thanks!

They are not called rock lords, I think I know what he's talking about but I can't remember the name of them.

Deliciouspeter, Do you have any pics of them?

I think he may be talking about the Inhumanoids.

Damn it! That's what I tried to post, Katamari, until the net glitched over here. Yes, that show (from the eighties) was full of the only monster plants I have really ever seen (except for maybe Super Mario Bros.).

Yeah, but did those transform? I vaguely recall they kinda did in the show, but, clearly, the toys did not.

There were rocks and tree 'Stumps" that turned into monsters. Most of the line did not transform though.

I had the tree guy and the rock monster that you could take off his 'skin' and reveal a lava monster. So awesome!
