My work has recently decided to be a pain in the butt and have blocked alot of the sites I used to visit but thankfully not TFW. Now what I was wondering is does anyone know of a back-door or a way to visit ebay as that's the site that I miss the most that they have blocked.

Not sure if this is against the rules to ask as I looked at them and didn't see anything about asking for help to get to a website so if this is against the rules...oops.

You are there to work, not play. So get back to work..

If we help you, and you get fired, then you will blame us..

    LOL

I'm not one to really try and follow the rules as I like to do my fair share of goofing off at work.

And I won't get fired, wrote up maybe but not fired.

    Ebay:
i had to attend rehab classes away from home back in 06 and i swear at the campus computer labs, i was blocked from almost all of the sites i had bookmarked on my home page- no MySpace, no Facebook which i needed to keep in touch with friends.
the system even blocked me from the Alltel web site that i had used to text my family b/c the area was not serviced by Alltel.

    So i feel your pain.
just don't do it on the clock, buddy.
    lol

Just use a proxy site. Search for 'proxy' and you should stumbled across something.

I'd be careful. My work blocks us from alot of sites and can monitor where we go. Using something to get around it is grounds for being written up or possible termination.

Well, i'll just tool around on here i guess as they haven't blocked me from here so i guess looking at TF's are work related lol, thanks for the advice

Oh by the way, we are allowed to go online, just under their rules and guidelines. I know that i'm being monitored but i've been going to the same sites now for 3 or 4 years and they are just now starting to be a pain about them. I don't look at stuff that's not safe for work or anything.
