or tfwiki. What kind of backgrounds are you looking for?

 

What do you mean by 'backgrounds'? Assuming this is for your fan animation, do you mean like dioramas to use as sets? Or do you mean a picture to use as a background to set the scenes in front of? If it's the latter I suppose you could just crib photos off the internet as long as you credit them. If it's actually built models then why not just go outside and use rocks and stuff for landscape and mechanical things easily found around the house for the inside of spaceships and suchlike? Or take photos of those things and use those as backgrounds. At least then it'll all be free either way. Make your own. Paint some drinking straws silver or grey and use those as pipes. Much more satisfying that way. Look at some of the clever and creative things people have done for their Transformers photocomics with regards to backgrounds and sets.

 

Why not just make one thread for your project and post updates and questions in there?

Create them yourself? Google interesting back grounds and print them off? Use TF fanwork? (Crediting the creators ofcourse)

Oh, in that case you're better off making your own, so that they fit the style you're looking for for your toys, and are the right size.

Indeed. Some paper and pens and Soundwavedredd2 can have exactly the things he needs. Or adapt those he's just linked to for his specific requirements. My sister and I used to make whole towns of cardboard models with just some cut-up empty cereal boxes and some felt tips.

What's that made of? Kinda looks like a sheet of card scored with lines and then painted (or was it that colour to begin with?), and then the Autobot logo added and painted. Either way it works well and would be a very easy thing for Soundwavedredd2 to do to make a good Ark or Autobase background.

I did the same thing a year or so back I since gotten rid of that stuff it was just taking up to much space.

 

I kinda wish the insides of TF boxes were printed with this kind of thing that kids (or adults) could cut out and assemble to make play backgrounds.

Or Hasbro could just sell packs of cardboard self-assembly playsets.
