It just says Select, Made in Japan, 1984. It's a fakie Transformer that turns into a parrot.
Convertors (specifically the Avarians subline). That one is called Calypso.
He is a Convertor, specifically an Avarian.
Here's a page with more information: STA: Convertors

Whoa that was fast! Thank you so much for the responses and link! I love the name.

Okay, I need the little Casino themed robots from this line.
I had a few as a kid and loved them just as much as my TFs (and Gobots, Rock Lords, etc.). I was not discriminating when it came to transforming robots . From the Avarians, I had the peacock, Feathers. I also had Creeper, Crawler, Tanker (the army version), and Tilt (my mom has had a framed picture of me playing with him on her dresser since I was a kid, basically because I was all dressed up at the table at a wedding banquet or something).
Sweet! :3 I think they're a very cool line, now that I know about them. I may hafta pick up some friends for him, if they're not too pricey. I like Feathers and Tilt and Robat too.
I strongly preferred Transformers as my flavor of transforming robot as a child, but I always kinda liked some of these. Although KO-ish, they were very Japanese and many had nice detailing. I think I had Zark and Colt as a child, and may have a couple of the insects in a parts bag that I gathered along the way. Zark and Colt may still be somewhere in my parents' basement. I'll have to look next time I visit.
If you find em, I'd love to see pictures.
Does that turn into a bird?
Yeah. The transformation is a bit stiff and for a minute, I thought I was gonna break him. X(
He can just stay as he is.
Don't break him. I just noticed that you said it turned into a parrot on your original post, lol.
That would royally suck if I did.
If you can get to any screws it might be worth taking it apart to loosen up any scary tight parts. I often pick up old Gobots from car boot sales and occasionally they need a little work to bring back to functional life after years of seized joints.
Interesting. The one called Colt reminds me of the Gun Robo that inspired Actionmaster Treadshot.
The blue helicopter reminds me of Whirl.
I just realised I have the Jeep in Roadbuster colours which I was using as Roadbuster.
