Any links? I'm just wondering. Figures are molded? Diecast parts too?

Anyone with any information on this?

Well, when a boy transformer and a girl transformer really love each other, (or get really drunk), sometimes they express thier love in a physical way.......

Y'know, I would make a statement about USB-ports and Ether cables, but....being new here and all, I refuse to make any sort of comment like that.

Very interesting. Does TakTom have anything to do with the toys not sold in their own line, such as the extra Cybertron molds?

This would be an excellent topic for a Botcon panel. As long as proprietary information was still controlled, I don't see why Hasbro would object. I would find some kind of powerpoint presentation fascinating. If I ever visit China, I plan to explore the possibility of touring one of Hasbro's factories.

Bainreese cited Botcon 2005 presentations in his allspark post. I'd still be very fascinated to see pics from inside a factory while TFs were in production.

Contrary to popular misinformation, all Transformers toys that are being released by Hasbro (well, MAYBE except for Titaniums) are being designed in cooperation with Takara.

Unfortunately, the same can't be said the other way round, which is why stuff like THS G1 Convoy happens...

According to Aaron Archer, Hasbro don't own the factories.

If the concept CAD stuff is done in AutoCAD, I'd love to get my hands on it :D

Transformers designs are still being done in plain ol' 2D concept drawings.
