does anyone know any home remedies to fix scratched dvd's or cd's?

    any advice would be helpful. i can't for the life of me figure out a good method.

    Havent tried it myself, but a couple people I know swear on car polish.
    The 'Fill in the scratches' type that dries hard and leaves a layer behind.

    Toothpaste is supposed to work. Put it on the disc and rub it in with a microfiber cloth. When you're done, wash it off.

    thanks guys. i tried the toothpaste and it worked for the most part.
    i used to have a disc doctor but it quit working lol
