Does anybody want to see shockwave takeover the cons?
or beat meagtron?
I reckon the 2nd trailer will give us a hint on this question.
it be weird seeing shockwave being the leader.
Only if it's the logical thing to do.
I do. I'm sick and tired of seeing him being depicted as a sycophantic yes-man to Megatron. Logical, conniving comics Shockwave for the win.
Here a picture to shown you have a epic win
I 100% freaking agree with you (shockwave fan)
I think Megatron will be more desperate and dangerous in this film. I dont think Shockwave will give up any position of power and defer to Megatron and rightly so. It sounds like he's got most of the powerbehind him already.
He's "logically" conclude Megatron has had his chance and failed and its time for a new leader. Himself.
I also think he'll be more physically imposing than Megatron too.
Half of me is saying 'yes!'.
The other half thinks he's tired of seeing Megatron become somebody's bitch.
If Shockwave takes over ( which I'm 99% sure of) what's gonna happen to Starscream :S ....Screamerz fans always gets the end of the stick.
Perhaps he will, and then Prime and Megs can team up to beat him, before ultimately fighting each other and/or escaping.
I wouldn't have a problem with that. That way we could have a new villain that is actually dangerous.
Since Shockwave is my favorite Decepticon EVER fuck yeah! Especially if he beats Megatron like he did with the Dinobots in IDW, namely "calculating" their downfall and hardly lifting a damn servo.
never would get tired of seeing shockwave applying some boot to megatron's ass.
Shockwave is an intelligent, scheming character who could easily calculate Megatron's downfall and bring it to fruition. Shockwave could threaten Megatron with the wrath of the entiriety of Cybertron's armies if he had too. Who knows where Shockwave has been all this time and what he's been planning? Perhaps the downfall of Megatron is his goal (or one of many goals), and why he is here.
I'd say its pretty likely, I don't think they're bringing him in as the new villian just to follow megatron's orders.
Could be worse, we could be getting Shockwave's Burden 2. Of course, this one ain't going to be funny at all.
That's what I think will happen as well. Shockwave seizes control and an exiled Megatron comes to Earth (explaining him taking on an Earth mode) along with a few remaining loyalists.
Definitely. MovieMegs hasn't gotten a chance to shine yet.
I have no idea whether they will fight each other but I would hope so. Let the autobots be busy fending off angry humans while the cons duke it out amongst themselves?
Personally, given what we know about the movie, from the details revealed in the trailer, some overall plot points can be assumed.
I think it's likely that the ark, and whomever is in charge of it, left to follow megatron and destroy him since he was on the trail of the allspark. Obviously they were too far behind him, and crash landed on the moon or somethin to that effect. The autobot on that ship looked newer than the primes from the fallen's time, so it's unlikely they were sent as aid to stop the sun harvester.
Shockwave is either the rival of whomever was leading the ark expedition, or an unknown who had been monitoring the civil war without being involved. I suspect the latter, as it would better explain why a transformer of equal power to megaton was unknown of.
Shockwave probably followed the ark in hopes of finding the allspark and claiming it as it was no longer defended by an army. He also may have stowed aboard and caused it to crash at the opportune time so that he only had megs to contend with. In any case, something probably went wrong. From there, he gets activated somehow during the third film.
Obviously if he's on megatron's side, some details would change, like his motivation for following. But damn do I hope he's his comic self....
