    I don't own it, but it's obviously a Chinese bootleg, and I've had a little bit of experience with them. They're pretty much always region-free, and that does mean it should work on your DVD player. Unfortunately the subtitles and compression quality on bootlegs varies tremendously. You may have some trouble understanding the subs, depending on how good they are.

    Still, I didn't know there was a subbed version of Mazinger available. Cool find!

    I found a neat bootleg of the original Maz Z TV series way back...flashy box, and the subtitles made more sense than some other ones. Never expect an HK bootleg set to be intelligible or accurate, though.

    The Kamen Rider Faiz bootlegs had the hilarious mistranslation of the english-spoken word Belt ('beruto') showing up as Girdle in the subtitles, for example. And the HK bootleg of Two Towers' english subs, with bits like Gimli being subbed with "Bring your pussy face to my ass!"
