Call local hobby shops, especially those who deal in miniature gaming. Failing that, educational toy stores, failing that, a good electronics supply company might have what you're looking for, but they'll likely be bigger.

Are the rare earth magnets that everyone uses for customs made out of Neodymium?
And if so are there any risks using them in customs?

Yes. There are other types of rare earth magnets, but the Neodymium ones seem to be the most common ones/easiest attainable.
I haven't heard of any. Wikipedia, also mentions no risks.

How big are those magnets at Radio Shack? I've seen neodymium magnets for around 0,20€ a piece.

I thought there was a radicon tutorial, depicting how to remove the magnets from some construction game (Magnext?). Can't seem to find it.  Wouldn't that still be cheaper than those Radio Shack ones?

Magnetix magnets are not as strong as the rare earth ones from Radio Shack. The ones sold there are very small. I use the Magnetix ones for small accesories that dont require to be strong attachment.

For some magnets with a bit more kick, crack open a busted/non-working hard drive.
The magnets in there are so strong, that if u pinch your fingers in between, it's gonna hurt.

I know that they might be bigger than you are looking for, but damn, they are strong.

I've used them in some of my "other" art projects, in conjunction with the teeny tiny ones.
