I thought this was an April Fool's Joke when it was announced, but if it's genuine, then count me in as a happy camper indeed :D

I wonder what his voice will sound like with the robot effect, also i wouldn't put it past him to use a voice, I'm not expecting Spock but who knows, maybe the new trailer is taking so long because they are recording his lines.

Oh yeah I think it's great Leonard Nimoy is doing Sentinal Prime's voice.
He has a long time of experience so I am sure he will do a awesome job.

I think he'll do a great voice for Sentinel. I can imagine it already.

Kinda funny how nearly thirty years ago he voiced the Decepticon leader created my a universal deity, and now he's back to voice the mentor of the Autobots leader.

Frag yeah, I'm happy Leonard Nimoy's coming back! I can't wait to hear his voice in a TF movie again!

I loved his Galvatron voice in the G1/1986 movie, so I expect that I will love his Sentinel Prime voice.

Sure. I can see how his voice would lend gravitas to the role rather than just going for an unsuitable big name for the heck of it. Just hope they don't make Sentinel do that Vulcan hand gesture thing.

I can see at the end of the movie he departs from Optimus Prime and tells him to "Live long and prosper old freind" but no hand gesture, that would be to much then. lol

I think he's an excellent choice because he's a good voice actor. Just can't think of any good reason why you would not want someone like him lending his voice to one of the characters.

I can't wait to hear him as Sentinel Prime, would've liked Liam Neeson as his voice but it's definately a fairly good casting. I'd like for them to give Sentinel his own distinctive line rather than use any of Spocks, but if they choose to then live long and prosper would be cool.

A truly thrilling choice that has not only intrinsic talent based value, but more than a little nostangic value not just for Transformers fans, but all lovers of science fiction and its iconography.
