I loved the design of the magnum and it was unfortunate they got rid of it. Kinda wish the PT had not been axed but Chrysler admitted to making alot of mistakes with it as well.

Anyways would be interesting to see whether the Magnum will relate to the Charger or the 300 this time around. Also if they use the LY or stick with the LX platform.

ugh don't bring that back. Looks like a deformed muscle car. To me it was as massive a fail as the failed revival of the pontiac gto

Well unlike the Potiac GTO/Holden Manaro and the Pontiac G8/Holden Commodore, this failure Sold to the masses. It got Axed because it wasn't as efficient as the PT Cruiser.

Plus it is the Wagon variant of the Dodge Charger and Challenger,as well as the Chrysler 300(C) fellow Muscle Car's. in fact the European Members here might be able to confirm the Chrysler 300 was available as the Wagon. basically the Magnum with the 300's Front end.

First the Durango, now the Magnum. Is the Neon slated for a comeback as well? How about we go old school and get a Dodge Dart in production?

I remember hearing four years ago Chrysler was planning to develop a bigger car with rear drive and V8. It was suppose to be bigger than the current 300.

But the high gas prices of 2008 convinced Chrysler to stop the development of the car.

Ah yes that was the Chrysler Imperial Concept they were trying to produce.
It was a 300 which was even more of a Roll-Royce Phantom knock-off. ...not as much of a looker though.

I always thought that the reason the Pontiac G8 failed because it got releaed just as the GFC hit and GM decided that Pontiac had to go.

Or it could be because of the ugly front end :p

You should've said "I bet she is". That way, people could extrapolate over whether you were talking about the car or his mother.

Also, what's this about the Magnum being canned because it was less efficient than the PT Cruiser? I mean sure, I get that they were both internally competing wagons, but considering that it's larger, heavier & more powerful, would fuel economy really be the best area to compare them on? Granted, the PT Cruiser is hardly a top runner in that area (mine pretty much uses as much gas as the small trucks/suvs that my dad had), but you know.

I used to love Chrysler Imperials. The big ones with the big block 440 V8, not the front-wheel drive V6 types they made in the late 80's to the early 90's.

    I used to have a 1967 Imperial.

Wow, never heard of Pontiac GTO, just googled it and I love it. They should make a new car that resembles the cool lines of a Pontiac Trans Am, or even the modified version that was K.I.T.T. :D

The one in Green Hornet had to be a 64 to 66 Imperial. The 67 was a whole new body style.
