They look well updated, though the final result will be when they are moving and talking, but I wonder who's next to turn up.

Sounds interesting, but I'm still having a really hard time getting hyped for anything with Catherine Tate anywhere near it.

They don't look bad, not sure on the overall look of them but I'm guessing they're designed to move more this time. Here's hoping we see some Rutans down the line as well.

He did always say he wanted to meet Agatha Christie.

Sounds cool. Good to hear that the Ood will be back. Always liked that two-parter.

...huh. Never been that big a fan of the Sontarans, but it's nice they're digging back into Dr. Who history.

Now, if we only get Silurians. :)

I have no idea what this means, but Dr. Who is becoming one of my favorite shows evah.

First disc of the new third season arrives this week, looking forward to catching up.

Nice to see they've gone back to the original description of them: "nasty, brutish and short."

I like the new style of armour but I'm not quite convinced by the powder blue colour. At some point between 1985 and 2008, the Sontarans' chief armourer apparently thought to himself: "I know - pastels! That'll really give us an edge!" :p

You realise the armour thing will be due to the Juddoon looking almost identical in their armour, right? Can't have two similar-looking species. Why the Juddoon didn't appear differently, I don't know, but the rumour I'd heard was the Sontarans were planned to come back for Smith and Jones last season, but dropped at the last moment.

They did recently in a spin-off book. I'm not sure if it went any further than that.

The Sontarans are well and good, I suppose, but can we please get the Ice Warriors back already?
