going to watch it now. i will post a review later. by chaps.

edit: a very good episode. a change in the fact that the villain is just a wounded animal/creature nand the fact that both the doctor and martha were both in geniune danger. though i am wondering how and what they stripmined from the sum.

Well, it'd be one way to get the materials you need for nuclear fusion on the cheap!

Yeah, good episode all round really.

Most enjoyable episode, that was. Nice to see the series getting back to the good stuff with this and the last episode, after the "human Dalek" drivel.
And DAMN, Martha looks great all sweaty like that.

    I liked it.
    Humans get greedy, people die.
a nod to Katarina with McDonnell, perhaps?

I thought this one was too much like the boring bits of 'The Impossible Planet'.

It was really hard to keep focused on watching this one, next weeks looks better though.

    A good episode.
Like how the Doctor tried to tell Martha about the regeneration process, and that they are furthering the Saxon references without having to be modern day episodes.

Next week's a 2 parter and a adaption of a New Adventure novel Human Nature, both written by Paul Cornell

seems the rest of the seasons episodes are linked loosely into a 6/7 parter with the episode prior to this showing the next episode(s, its a 2 parter) and maybe episode 10. certainly very interesting.

I actually found myself on edge with this episode. Yeh, ok, we know the Doctor and Martha aren't going to die - but the others... it's nice to have a bit of "omg" with the others.

yeh i like the way the story is gonna tie together, it appears the time at the end of this ep is gona be when doctor and martha arrive for the season finale

but like everyone else i thought it was way to similar to impossible planet

I don't think it was like Impossible Planet at all, besides the fact they were on... a spaceship...

Impossible planet: They were orbiting a black hole, they were stable, they weren't being sucked in, the villain... was actually a villain, and it was more of a "what's going on? Who did this? Holy shit, this is creepy" and it was much slower paced, probably due to the fact it was 2 episodes.

42: Being sucked into the sun, no time to think, very faced paced, the villain wasn't really a villain, but more a fight to survive, and just in general more tense than The Impossible Planet.

I really enjoyed this one. Lots of suspense and tension, very fun.
Next week's looks surreal, not sure what to make of the jumble of scenes in the preview.

That was a sufficiently action-packed episode. I can only hope we'll see at least one or two more equally action-oriented episodes in the remaining six.

I liked it, though the future doesn't seem to like the TARDIS.

I thought for the first few minutes that the Captain was the same actress who played Jo Grant back in the day.
