I don't know about you guys but I have gotten so sick of the gigantic cardboard sheet and the clear plastic bubble. I personally think that cybertron boxes were always really cool.

Sure, it is just a sheet of cardboard and a plastic bubble, but the contrast eachother so much better IMO. So what I'm asking is, do you want hasbro to re-think the deluxe box style? (instead of just altering the bubble a little bit each toyline)

I'd prefer boxes that can be closed back up.

Allegedly packaging will be changed with rid wave six

Hasbro are under so much pressure from rising costs and shareholders that packaging is probably going to stay cost effective...maybe become more so again.

Although rid packaging is somewhat reminiscent of cybertron packaging

I think that'll be more or less an art thing.

I am not enjoying the current regular Prime packages. DotM looked VERY nice with the earth contrasting the figure as well as the other textual treatments. The new Generations looks pretty nice. Animated is really nice. I enjoy the Classics deluxes quite a bit, too.

Some of my absolute favorites *gasp* are the G1 basics and the Action Masters carded figures. The bubble is minimal enough to showcase the figure, and the character artwork really takes over.

Less plastic and more recycled material please. Most of it ends up in the trash.

For Takara: I know part of packaging design is to prevent theft, but it would great if they'd stop using so much tape. The United and Henkei boxes have/had lots of folded and taped plastic tabs.

Same here. When I buy a toy, it is removed from the packaging and the packaging is thrown out. My only exceptions are MP-04 and MP-05.

I always felt that they should be shrunken down do accommodate the largest Deluxe figure in said line, to allow for less box size, and possible larger case assortments.

The Universe Classics 2.0 packaging will probably be my favorite packaging for a while.

I want something that's easier to ship. MOSC deluxes are awkwardly dimensioned and a pain in the ass to mail.

Never really gave it much thought. I just rip the bubble off the card and toss it.

Is anyone thinking about how the current style card & bubble packages fit in a case of 8?

Because Hasbro has to think about that.

    Cards and bubbles are fine.
