For those of you not recognizing the name, Kevin Michael Richardson is the voice of Cleveland Jr and Lester on the Cleveland show.

He voiced gantu in Lilo and stitch, and he voiced the 2nd Prime that told sam that the matrix was earned and not found in ROTF. So my question is, Do you guys want to here his voice in DOTM.

 

Although this thread is somewhat pointless..

Cleveland show? Really? Why don't you mention he is the voice of the best Bulkhead ever? [TF: Prime one].

And he could be Roadbuster's voice, seems the only fitting character to him.

 

He voiced pretty much anyone with a deep voice in cartoons. I say yes but who would he voice?

 

Leadfoot. Or Mirage.

And yeah I know the threads kind of random compared to what I usually do but thanks to the spoilers theres not much I could theorize about without it being case closed by those god awful spoilers. Not to mention hes just one of those voice acting masters out there that has their voice in EVERYTHING.

 

This thread would be more useful if you turned it into a threat about your hopes/guesses about the voice actors of the main characters.

 

Sentinel Prime. I'd love it.

 

Probably one of the Wreckers, or the generic growls of the Decepticon clones. I love Kevin's work as Bulkhead, Rampage, Omega Supreme, as well as the countless other roles he's played (Cleveland Show, Joker, Gantu). Be happy to have him on board.

If he's in DOTM, he'd be working with Bill Fagerbakke - who he inherited the role of Bulkhead from. Awesomeness.  

 

His voice is ment for someone powerful. (EC Gantu, Bulkhead, Rampage, ect.)


Maybe he could be the Bank Truck. Or maybe Leadfoot.

 

I say leadfoot too. Mirage is supposed too have an italian accent anyways. The bank truck is a good guess too.

Kevin Richardson is just the poor mans Michael Clarke Duncan, i would want both in as wreckers though (ironic cause youd have black guys play "white stereotype" lookin bots)

  And the thing is, I agree with you. Kind of like how I say that Garry Chalk is the "no-name-brand" Peter Cullen.   Doesn't make it a bad thing though. KMR is an amazing VA and Michael Clarke Duncan has a very iconic voice. I recently heard him say a line from the new Green Lantern trailer, and I'm pretty sure that any movie fan who isn't deaf could tell you who was voicing him. The problem I find with MCD is that his voice is too deep. It's so deep, that it can sometimes be difficult to understand him. It's just this booming base register with the occasional pause and rise in pitch.

As for the topic at hand, if I had to pick, I'd say either an Omega Supreme-like character or one of The Wreckers. I would also kill to hear his take on a Soundwave.   Having both Bill Faggerbakke and KMR as Wreckers would be a nice little wink to the fans, in my opinion.

 

The voice of Sarevok from Baldur's Gate? Definitely. He'll be a good VA for a villian. And to posters above.....Michael Clark Duncan is no replacement for him or vice versa.

Ooh, I like MCD too! John Coffey as a Decepticon would be great! Only if the 'con calls Megatron/Shockwave "Boss" though.  

 

Have you listened to the redneck voice he uses in Cleveland Show. Now that's a total redneck.

I also thought he'd be great as one of the Dreads. And if Micheal Bay was still in the mood or had the budget, he'd bring Tidal Wave to life.
