While it's been done before (Universe 2.0 Starscream), Hasbro usually doesn't go down that route. We're more likely to get repaints of existing molds. We've already got potential retools from Kup, Scourge, Thunderwing, and a slew of other Classics molds that haven't seen a second retail release.
Not to mention other rereleased figures such as rodimus, bumblebee and cyclonus. But chances are they will release some more figures in the next year.
Yes, the likelihood of Hasbro releasing more in the future is high. I kind of gathered at BotCon that they know we like the Classics-verse as it were. While the previous replies in this thread ring true (we'll see repaints and/or rereleases in slightly different decos of those figures before anything else is released), I wouldn't rule out Classic characters continuing to churn out. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Headmaster homages, or more G2 stuff.
We're getting more Generations. Hasbro said the line is coming back. In fact, I believe we may be getting some as Walmart exclusives. I noticed my Walmart moved all of the RtS stuff over to the clearance aisle, but left a line of pegs for Generations deluxes, right next to the movie stuff. Warpath's alternate head is Hardhead, remember? lol
This one keeps things fairly up to date, so if there's pegs for generations, it's likely supposed to be that way.
^yeah my wal-mart barely even carried generations, but with DOTM they got tons of the last wave, we had like 3 warpaths at one time, it shocked me generations will continue, at the end of the year
